Human, always
Mommy Talk listeners are real people. Staff accounts require owner approval and completion of required training before a listener can accept a session.
About Mommy Talk
Mommy Talk is a human listening service for moms. It is a place to vent, ramble, cry, laugh or say the unfinished thing out loud to a real person who is there to listen.
Motherhood can include tenderness, resentment, pride, boredom, love and exhaustion—sometimes in the same hour. We believe moms deserve a place where those mixed feelings do not have to be cleaned up before they are spoken.
Our purpose is simple: make it easier to ask for a little time for you. Not another task to complete. Not a promise to transform your life. A real conversation with a human listener, at a pace and length you choose.
Mommy Talk listeners are real people. Staff accounts require owner approval and completion of required training before a listener can accept a session.
You do not need a clear lesson, a sensible reason or a tidy beginning. You can start with “I don’t even know where to start.”
We are not licensed professionals. Mommy Talk offers peer listening, not therapy, diagnosis, medical care or emergency support.
Our required listener training covers the Mommy Talk approach to peer listening, privacy, boundaries and session practices. Completion is recorded and enforced before staff can accept sessions. It is not a professional license, clinical certification or claim of medical expertise.
Private text is the currently available conversation format. Phone and video are coming soon; they are not presented as working services while their providers remain unconnected.
